Getting to Salzburg

Sustainability is very important at the Salzburg Half. Find out more following this link. Make your contribution and travel to the Salzburg Half by public transport.

The trains from Munich, Vienna and other big cities in Austria go regularly even on sundays. Just have a look at the timetables of Österreichische Bundesbahnen, Westbahn and Deutsche Bahn.

In the city of Salzburg the best solution is to go by public transport as-well.

Arriving by car – parking

We recommend:

a) “Altstadt“ garages. Leave the highway A1 at “Salzburg Airport” an go in direction of city center.

b) Park & Ride – taking the bus to the city center

  • south of Salzburg / Alpenstraße: Leave the highway A10 at “Salzburg Süd“, follow the “Alpenstraße“ to the city limit and take the Obus line 3 to the city center (on Sunday every 20 minutes).
  • “Messezentrum“: Leave the highway A1 at “Messezentrum“ and take the Obus line 1 to city center
